The team at Honeycombes Sales and Service are incredibly proud to announce that our young-gun Darcy Miller was crowned victorious last night at the Annual John Deere Technician Awards winning the title of AU/NZ John Deere Service Apprentice of the year!

This year we had two incredibly deserving technicians selected as finalists at the Annual John Deere Technician Awards. For the second consecutive year, Karl Moschella was selected as a finalist for the coveted 'AU/NZ John Deere Agricultural Service Technician of the Year' title. Darcy was a first-time finalist for the Service Apprentice of the Year.

With over two decades working in the industry, you could say Karl knows a thing or two about his John Deere machines. Karl continues to enlighten us and our customers with his knowledge and expertise in the field, all with a smile on his face. As for Darcy, he is following in the foot-steps of Karl. Only a few years into his career, his professionalism and dedication is second to none.

Honeycombes CEO Mark Barrett, HR Manager Rebecca Dean, and General Manager Des Carroll joined Darcy and Karl at the Annual John Deere Technician Awards, alongside Karl's biggest fan, his beautiful wife Amanda. It was an inspiring evening filled with pride and a touch of anxiety as our team awaited for the results.

The winning title was just out of reach for Karl's this year, but trust us when we say he is a winner in our books. We've got our fingers crossed that next year will be Karl's year - third times the charm! On an exciting note, Darcy achieved victory as the 2023 AU/NZ John Deere Service Apprentice of the year - a monumental milestone in his career.
